Each room has a double-glazed window which ensures both sound and weather insulation. The hotel is built on a small one-way street which half-closed on one end.

Car and foot traffic is minimal even during the day —no rumbling traffic noise at night to wake you up or trouble your sleep. A third of the rooms give on a private courtyard on the other side of the building.

We re-carpeted the corridors with commercial grade carpet so that the noise of people coming and going at night be as muffled as possible. While not first grade, the bedding is new, and adequately comfortable. Beds are of the standard-size and twin-size type.

Each room has its own bathroom, some are equipped with a shower cabin. Denise requested us to mention that because the bathrooms are narrow, XXXL-sized and disabled people might have difficulty moving their bodies in such close quarters.
